TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Our proprietary BiO-2® method is a second generation process based upon the work of world renowned microbiologist Carl H. Oppenheimer, Ph.D. Originally developed as a method to improve oxygen uptake for aerobic microbes, BiO-2, Inc. has refined and applied this method in a proprietary process to allow demonstrable increased oxygen uptake in the human body when applied topically and orally.
BiO-2® provides oxygen absorption enhancement.

BiO2 Process

The BiO-2 process alters the covalent bond between the oxygen and hydrogen atoms that make up a water molecule and allows for release of oxygen from the molecule by means of a catalytic reaction when BiO-2® comes in contact with cell walls. Water molecules exist at a higher energy state than either hydrogen molecules or oxygen molecules. In nature, molecules tend to combine or split in order to reach a lower energy level. What prevents water from naturally dividing into its individual components is that the reaction requires energy, which must be supplied by a catalyst. Dr. Carl Oppenheimer believes the explanation for the demonstrably higher bio-availability of oxygen from BiO-2® is that when a BiO-2® molecule with its altered covalent bond comes in contact with a cell wall, the cell provides the catalyst to precipitate the reaction. The result is the cell absorbs the oxygen atom.

Lab Tests

Laboratory tests undertaken by Catalyst Development, Inc. at the University of British Columbia Sports Medicine Department indicate oxygen uptake from drinking BiO-2® liquid, by measuring blood oxygen content, is significant and measurable when compared to ordinary water.

**The mixture has no chemical impact other than that of water. The mixture needs to be handled with the normal precaution of any liquid. The mixture has been tested by human contact for a fifteen year period with no direct or indirect impact.
